What would you call that solutions-oriented movement, where people create tools like ‘Whole Earth Catalog’ to show us modern citizens how to take positive action, instead of being complacent or negative?
I grew up in a sheeplike suburb, and would have never discovered that I was ‘buried in the matrix’, until I stumbled on magazines like ‘Mother Jones’ at a U.S. Army supermarket in Germany.
Is there a media portal for ideas like this, or do you have to assemble your own experience?
Ken, great question. I’m going to address is in a regular blog post, but I did want to say that given all your experience with alternative media, maybe you should create a Web portal for this kind of thing. I think the information is out there, but in a lot of different places.
