Blowing the weather: weathercasters aren’t doing enough to forecast climate change

When it comes to media and the environment, TV weather is where the rubber meets the road–or skids out. As this excellent Rolling Stone article points out, TV weathermen are not likely to connect the climate change dots. Indeed, weather in the media relates to sports, travel, business and little else. Seems like weathercasters would be ideal communicators for climate change. So why are they blowing it?
